plainkit stojí na jednoduchej myšlienke: nechceme tvoje dáta. Tu je v obyčajnej reči, čo sa s tvojimi údajmi (ne)deje. Žiadny právnický žargón.

01 Čo nerobíme
Žiadne kontá, žiadna registrácia, žiadne prihlasovanie.
Žiadne reklamy, žiadna analytika, žiadne sledovanie, žiadne sledovacie cookies.
Žiadne skripty tretích strán — celý web sa načítava výlučne z plainkit.app. Žiadne Google fonty, žiadne CDN, nič nevolá „domov". (Niektoré nástroje pošlú tvoj vstup externej službe až vtedy, keď to sám spustíš — viac v sekcii 04.)
Je to webová stránka, nie aplikácia — nepýta si a ani technicky nemá ako získať prístup k tvojim súborom, polohe, kontaktom, kamere či mikrofónu.
02 Čo zostáva len v tvojom prehliadači
Poznámky, mestá vo svetovom čase a voľba jazyka sa ukladajú do lokálneho úložiska tvojho prehliadača. Nikdy sa neposielajú k nám, na žiadny server. Keď vymažeš dáta prehliadača, zmiznú.
03 Chat „Bez stopy"
Správy sa šifrujú priamo v tvojom prehliadači z hesla, na ktorom sa dohodnete. Náš server (relay) len preposiela nečitateľnú šifru a sám ju neprečíta. Žiadna história — nič sa neukladá; zavrieš kartu a je preč.
Čestne o hraniciach: chat je presne taký súkromný, aké je vaše heslo a ako si ho vymeníte. Relay nevidí obsah, ale vidí, že nejaká izba je aktívna a kedy (metadáta). Je to nástroj na rýchly súkromný rozhovor medzi ľuďmi, čo si dôverujú — nie na použitie proti odhodlanému protivníkovi so zdrojmi.
04 Nástroje, ktoré komunikujú s tretími stranami
Väčšina nástrojov beží celá v tvojom prehliadači. Pri niektorých to nejde — musia tvoj vstup odoslať externej službe, aby vôbec fungovali. Vždy ťa na to upozorníme priamo v danom nástroji, skôr než to spustíš, a deje sa to len vtedy, keď to sám vyvoláš (nie pri otvorení stránky). Dnes sú to tieto:
Prekladač: text, ktorý zadáš, sa odošle do Google Gemini API, ktoré ho preloží a vráti späť. My ho neukladáme, ale text opúšťa tvoj prehliadač a prechádza cez Google. Nevkladaj doň citlivé alebo osobné informácie.
Počasie: mesto, ktoré zadáš, a jeho súradnice sa odošlú na Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), odkiaľ sa získa predpoveď. Nič sa neukladá a nepripája sa to k tebe; platia pravidlá súkromia Open-Meteo.
Kontrola hesiel: audit sily hesla beží celý v tvojom prehliadači — heslo ho neopúšťa. Voliteľná kontrola únikov je iná: spustíš ju len ty a aj vtedy sa na Have I Been Pwned pošle len prvých 5 znakov SHA-1 odtlačku tvojho hesla (metóda k-anonymity), nikdy celé heslo ani celý odtlačok. Služba z toho nevie zistiť tvoje heslo.
05 Vyhľadávanie
Vyhľadávacie políčko pošle tvoj dopyt do vyhľadávača, ktorý si sám vyberieš (Google, Bing alebo DuckDuckGo), a to až vo chvíli, keď klikneš. Tieto služby majú vlastné pravidlá ochrany súkromia.
06 IP adresa — nevyhnutné minimum
Aby k tebe vôbec doletela odpoveď, server musí vidieť IP adresu tvojho pripojenia. To je úplný základ, na ktorom stojí celý internet — nie niečo, čo zbierame navyše. Nepoužívame ju na sledovanie, neukladáme ju do žiadnej databázy a nespájame ju s tebou.
Predstav si to ako poštové smerovacie číslo na obálke: bez neho list nedôjde, ale nehovorí nič o tom, čo je vnútri — a to vnútro je u nás v chate aj tak zašifrované. Na úrovni infraštruktúry tieto pripojenia spracúva náš poskytovateľ hostingu (Cloudflare) tak, ako pri každej webovej stránke.
Nepýtame si od teba nič. Nemáme čo o tebe prezradiť, lebo o tebe nič nevieme.
07 Podmienky a vylúčenie zodpovednosti
plainkit je poskytovaný „ako je" (as is), zadarmo a bez akejkoľvek záruky.
Nástroje vrátane šifrovania chatu nie sú nezávisle auditované. Nespoliehaj sa na ne tam, kde ide o život, bezpečnosť alebo významné peniaze.
Za to, čo napíšeš a zdieľaš, zodpovedáš ty.
Ktorýkoľvek nástroj môžeme kedykoľvek zmeniť alebo zrušiť.

plainkit is built on a simple idea: we don't want your data. Here, in plain language, is what does and doesn't happen with your information. No legal jargon.

01 What we don't do
No accounts, no signup, no login.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no tracking cookies.
No third-party scripts — the whole site loads only from plainkit.app. No Google Fonts, no CDNs, nothing phoning home. (Some tools send your input to an external service only when you trigger it yourself — see section 04.)
It's a website, not an app — it doesn't ask for, and technically cannot access, your files, location, contacts, camera or microphone.
02 What stays only in your browser
Your notes, world-clock cities and language choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us or to any server. Clear your browser data and they're gone.
03 The "Off the record" chat
Messages are encrypted in your browser using the password you agree on. Our relay server only forwards scrambled text and cannot read it. No history — nothing is stored; close the tab and it's gone.
Honest about the limits: the chat is only as private as your password and how you share it. The relay can't see the content, but it does see that a room is active and when (metadata). It's a tool for a quick private conversation between people who trust each other — not for standing up to a determined, well-resourced adversary.
04 Tools that talk to third parties
Most tools run entirely in your browser. A few can't — they have to send your input to an external service to work at all. We always flag this right inside the tool, before you trigger it, and it only happens when you actually do (never on page load). Today these are:
Translator: the text you enter is sent to Google's Gemini API, which translates it and sends it back. We don't store it, but the text does leave your browser and passes through Google. Don't paste sensitive or personal information into it.
Weather: the city you enter and its coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to fetch the forecast. Nothing is stored or linked to you; Open-Meteo's own privacy terms apply.
Password check: the strength audit runs entirely in your browser — your password never leaves it. The optional breach check is different: you trigger it yourself, and even then only the first 5 characters of your password's SHA-1 hash are sent to Have I Been Pwned (k-anonymity), never the full password or full hash. They cannot reconstruct your password from that.
05 Search
The search box sends your query to the engine you choose (Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo), and only when you click. Those services have their own privacy policies.
06 Your IP address — the bare minimum
For any reply to reach you at all, the server has to see your connection's IP address. That's the foundation the entire internet runs on — not something we collect on top. We don't use it to track you, don't store it in any database, and don't link it to you.
Think of it like the postal code on an envelope: without it the letter can't arrive, but it says nothing about what's inside — and with us, the inside (your chat) is encrypted anyway. At the infrastructure level, our host (Cloudflare) handles these connections the way it does for any website.
We ask you for nothing. We have nothing to reveal about you, because we know nothing about you.
07 Terms & disclaimer
plainkit is provided "as is", free of charge, with no warranty of any kind.
The tools, including the chat's encryption, are not independently audited. Don't rely on them where lives, safety, or significant money are at stake.
